KATHERINE CURATOLO
Katherine Curatolo began
playing the viola at the age of eight in Niantic, Connecticut. After completing
high school at the Interlochen Arts Academy, she earned a Bachelor of Music
degree in viola performance with high honors from the University of Michigan.
Ms.
Curatolo continued her studies at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice
University, where she received a fellowship to coach chamber music in the
Michael P. Hammond Preparatory Program.
She teaches privately and has performed
across the United States as an orchestral and chamber musician. Her teachers
have included James Dunham, Yizhak Schotten, Caroline Coade, and Peter Slowik.
