Paul Abler

New York City based Guitarist/Composer Paul Abler originally from Detroit, has been performing for over 25 years.

A seasoned Guitarist who has recorded and / or performed with a wide variety of musicians such as Cindy Blackman, James Carter, Allen Farnham, Joe Lee Wilson, The Spirit Of Life Ensemble, Charles Davis, Cameron Brown, Guilherme Franco & Pe- De- Boi , Motown's Funk Brothers and many others.

As a composer, Paul has written over 150 compositions, many have been used in Film and Television. Paul recently completed 2 projects for Chesky records Flim/ TV division (Manhattan Production Music).

Paul continues to lead his own groups which in the past have included such musicians Bobby Battle, Gerald Cleaver, Craig Taborn, Sean Smith and many others. Other upcoming projects to be released are “Remember Me" a session of originals with Brazilian vocalist Yashmin Charnet-Abler and an instrumental session Of Jimi Hendrix music.
