Here is an explanation of the various bindings used in our products:
Boxed: Product contains one or more separate items packaged in a box.
Compact Disc: The product is a compact disc packaged in a standard CD jewel case.
Flex: A very sturdy square binding.
Folded: Items such as charts, choral octavos, sheet music, etc.
Glued: Pads with "tear-off" sheets.
Hardback: Bookstore-quality hard cover.
Hardback Boxed: Multiple hard cover volumes packaged in a slipcase or box.
"Lay-Flat": Similar to Flex binding, but the cover of the spine is separated from the pages, allowing the book to lie open more easily.
Mixed: The product is a package which contains items of different binding types.
Perfect: Used on larger books. Features a square binding edge and printed spine. This is a strong binding which lies open when creased.
Rolled: Used for Wall Charts that are shipped rolled.
Spiral: Plastic comb-type binding.
Saddlestitch: Stapled through the fold in two places. Used for books of less than 80 pages. Lies open easily.

Wirebound: Plastic-coated metal spiral binding.
