Mel Bay’s eBook format is the convenient new way to get your music now! Mel Bay uses Adobe’s PDF file-formatted electronic copies of selected titles for you to download right to your computer or any other Adobe Reader-compatible device.
Purchase an eBook as you would any print product on our website. Save the cost and wait time of shipping. After your purchase you will receive an email detailing instructions on downloading your eBook.
We have partnered with Shopatron, a leading web site development company to host and manage your download.

You can browse by Instrument, Style or Language from the sidebar on the MelBay.com website by drilling down to the section you wish to browse.
Our eBook selections have green “Buy eBook” buttons.
You will also find such a button on the product page of any of our print products that are also offered in eBook format.

After placing items in your MelBay.com cart, you will be directed to the "Shopping Cart" where you can choose to check out or continue shopping. When placing items in your cart on MelBay.com you are directed to the Shopping Cart where you can check out or continue shopping.
If you choose to check out, your order is sent to our eCommerce partner, Shopatron. Through their secure checkout process, you will be asked to create a new account or sign in if you already have one established.

There are no shipping charges for Mel Bay eBooks but the checkout process will display "Shipping 3-7 days". Please be assured that your download will be available within the hour in most cases.
New accounts will be asked to enter payment information and create a password.
After creating a new account or reviewing your current account information, you will be taken to a "Review and Confirm" page.
Upon completing your transaction you will receive two emails from Shopatron. One will acknowledge that your order was received. The second will arrive after your transaction is complete and will contain a link to the "Shopatron Login" page. Log in with the email and password that you created when you set up your account.
This will take you to the "Shopatron Order" page. You will be able to see all of your previous orders placed through MelBay.com. Find your new download order and choose "Download Files".
The "Digital Content" page is then shown. Click on the PDF file name to download the eBook to your computer.
The files sold on Melbay.com are password-protected. To open the file, enter the same password used to log into Shopatron.
You can download your item as often as you choose and to as many devices as you need. Your password will be required each time you open the file. Printing the file for your personal use is also allowed.
Using an iPad? Until iOS 4 you will need to purchase your PDF through your computer and place it in iTunes to synchronize
