A Fiddle Version of Missori Waltzby Stacy Phillips In conjunction with Dr. Howard Marshall's fine article on the history of Missouri Waltz, here is a Blaine Sprouse's version of the tune. Blaine is known for his bluegrass fiddling especially with The Osborne Brothers and his several fiddle albums, both solo and with Kenny Baker. The parenthetical "4" refers to fingering. Blaine used lots of bow and country vibrato on this arrangement. This version was published in the now out-of-print "Phillips Collection of Traditional American Fiddle Tunes". Stacy Phillips
