Darla Rae Perlozzi Interview
Darla began performing at an early age in her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio where she played in her father's band. She has developed many talents through the years including producing live radio shows, script writing, video production and graphic design. She completed extensive studies in classical and jazz piano, vocal training, guitar, music arranging, orchestration and musical composition to list a few. She has been awarded an Achievement Award from the Governor of Ohio, a Congressional Record of Honor from the United States Congress, and has been listed as a Who's Who in Entertainment. Darla has also been featured in articles in Modern Drummer and Drum Magazine, where she held the distinction of being the first drummer from Ohio and the first female drummer to be featured in Drum magazine.
