The Big River Reelby Steve SmithThe Big River Reel is a new tune I came up with while working up sets for an Irish gig. The tune leads off with a triplet figure followed by a pair of eights that should be played with a down-up-down, down-up,down-up-down, down-up right hand pattern. Take it slow and you'll get the hang of the right hand motion and feel. The chords can be nicely arranged in an open or closed position creating some nice motion between the changes.
