Mel Bay authors Steve Baughman (www.celticguitar.com, www.frailing.com) and David Surette (www.charm.net/~irishwk/instructors/david_surette.htm) will be appearing throughout New England in November 2002 from Friday 11/8 - Sunday 11/16, combining their talents to create unforgettable performances of lyrical and lively Celtic fingerstyle guitar music.

In addition to their joint concerts, Steve Baughman will be giving several 3-hour workshops on Frailing the Guitar, demonstrating the lilting Appalachian-influenced fingerpicking technique that is the subject of his most recent Mel Bay book, as well as introducing people to his favorite Celtic tuning, CGDGCD, which he has dubbed the Orkney Tuning (utilized in several of his other Mel Bay books/videos).
