Richard Gilewitz, will be busy in Nashville this July starting with a special appearance at "The Sounds of Tacoma" event on July 18 at The Basement. As part of Tacoma Guitars "Dealer and Customer Appreciation Night", Gilewitz will kick off the evening with selections of originals, including "Mrs. Firecraker's Place". Written for a movie soundtrack, the entire transcript of "Mrs. Firecracker's Place" is available for downloading from Guitar Sessions®.
The evening will continue with a surprise line-up of players (hand picked by Nashville's own "Western Beat" Billy Block) demonstrating their chops. This "in-the-round" session will present some of the country's well-known songwriters from both the Nashville scene and from across the nation. A JF21 jumbo maple Tacoma Guitar, personally autographed by Trisha Yearwood, will be given away to a lucky winner attending this event.
Gilewitz will be joined by other Mel Bay authors performing at the 10th Edition of Muriel Anderson's "All Star Guitar Night" on July 19 at The Ryman Auditorium. This prestigious event at NAMM is brings together artists of various genres and will also feature solo appearances by Muriel Anderson, Ed Gerhard, and Phil Keaggy.
