This summer John Holenko and Hazel Ketchum will be performing through out the nation. Here are some of the upcoming dates:

June 21, 2002
The Hungry Monks - Original, Acoustic, Eclectic! Musicians John Holenko and Hazel Ketchum will be performing traditional and original acoustic folk music at 7:30 pm at Trident Technical College in North Charleston, South Carolina.

July 18-20, 2002
Musicians John Holenko and Hazel Ketchum will be teaching and performing traditional guitar, mandolin, and bodhran at The Bob Taylor Music Festival in Little Rock, Arkansas.

July 22 - August 9, 2002
John Holenko and Hazel Ketchum are artists-in-residence at the Cuyahoga Valley Earth Arts Camp in Peninsula, Ohio, and will be performing concerts of traditional and original acoustic folk music throughout the summer.

Their Mel Bay book is a collection of melodies from medieval Europe as adapted by the group Sonus from their Dorian CD, Songs and Dances of the Middle Ages. While performing on authentic period instruments on the recording, the authors present here both a solo guitar and a melody edition of these ancient tunes. Although none of this music was originally written for the guitar, the authors have selected 20 pieces from the CD which make successful guitar arrangements.
