Por Almonaster is a flamenco guitar composition in fandango de Huelva forma. Almonaster la Real is the name of an ancient village in the province of Huelva in southwest Spain. Yago spent a lot of time there in 2010, composing and studying with Rafael Riqueni, so the town has a lot of meaning for him. The title, “Por Almonaster” means “In” or “At Almonaster”, honoring the town and its citizens and remembering the times he enjoyed there.
