These melodies of Stephen Collins Foster have been freely adapted from the original songs, and will enrich the repertoire of the solo guitar through their colorful variety. These settings appear in standard guitar notation, complete with fingerings. Although conceived principally for interpretation on the classical guitar, many of these pieces also lend themselves well to being played on the steel-string guitar.
