"Generaciones" is a solo guitar tune composed by Yago Santos in buleria form using standard tuning. This tune is contained in his first solo album "Alma de Niño" (Karonte / Nuba Records), released in 2021.
This buleria honors the new generation of guitarists that were pushing the boundaries of flamenco music at the time it was composed, in the year 2013. Towards the end the piece modulates to an Aeolian with three beautiful and unique falsetas. This modulation was used by Paco de Lucía during his first period, but Yago takes the music to a different place, where the listener can really engage with his unique style of composition.
