This collection features twelve pieces for alto or tenor saxophone solo with piano accompaniment as well as six easy saxophone duets and trios (for either alto or tenor sax duet or trio -- not mixed). The stylistically simple and technically easy motifs and riffs are inevitably attractive and promote lots of fun while playing.
All of the pieces in this collection are short and can be used as recital pieces even at the earliest stages of learning. Every piece possesses a stylistically typical melodic turn which, in the course of the piece, is logically developed further in the given harmonic context. Thus the student is not discouraged by having to master a large number of differing stylistic phrases. The piano parts are easy, with the melody shown in C above.
Includes piano score and separate parts for alto and tenor saxophone. The "6 Pieces for 2 or 3 Alto or Tenor Saxophone" (without piano) serve as enjoyable training for unison notes as well as purity of tone and uniformity of articulation. Duet and trio parts are written in the pull-out saxophone parts only. Separate parts are not provided for second and third instruments. Language: German/English
