WILLIAM HEARN
Bill Hearn bought his first ukulele in 2012. He quickly realized that it could do more than just strum chords, and his Atlanta Guitar Trio arrangements for ukulele and guitar soon became an audience favorite.
Bill earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Florida State University and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona. He was a three-time semifinalist in the Guitar Foundation of America Concert Artist International Competition and worked for four years in North Carolina's Visiting Artist program. Currently, Bill teaches ukulele, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and lute in and around Atlanta, Georgia, and frequently performs with the Atlanta Guitar Trio and the New Trinity Baroque Orchestra.
When Bill isn't playing or teaching music he likes to write. His novel Maria's Child is available as an e-book or paperback.
