JESSICA SHAVER
JESSICA SHAVER is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, where she taught junior high band and strings and served as an assistant conductor of Cleveland's All-City High School Orchestra. She received her Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music in French Horn, and Sixth Year in Music Education from Kent State University, where she also participated in the Kent Blossom Music Festival coached by members of the Cleveland Orchestra. Before moving to Connecticut, Jessica taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Horn and Instrumental Music Education, first at McNeese State University and later at the University of Central Arkansas. She is a former member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Erie Philharmonic. In Connecticut, Jessica taught instrumental and general music in the Madison Public Schools for 26 years. She continues to enjoy performing locally on both horn and Celtic harp.
