RONNIE CIAGO
Ronnie Ciago began playing drums at age 5. Growing up in New York he had the opportunity to study under Narada Michael Walden, Carmine Appice, Jim Chapin, Peter Haywood, and Al Miller. Following high school, Ronnie moved to Boston to study at the Berklee School of Music. At Berklee, his studies included ear training, arranging, music theory, piano, and harmony. As a percussion major his drum teachers were Gary Chaffee and Kieth Copeland. After Berklee Ronnie began recording, touring, producing, and teaching. He's recorded and toured with such artists as Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Brand X, Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones), Rickie Lee Jones, Riverdogs, Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie), and many others.
