This elegant piece, appropriate for a formal wedding, lends itself very well to doubling on the flute or violin.If the procession is short, the first section will suffice. If there are many attendants, it is effective to play the A part, then the B, and continue repeating the B part until the signal is given that the bride is ready to proceed. Allow a brief pause, and then play through the A part to conclude the processional.
