            Born in 1974, David was raised in a musical environment  and began playing harmonica at 13. His father wrote many  books about American music and David had the opportunity  to meet Johnny Shines, Eddie C. Campbell, and Charlie  Musselwhite. He played his first gig at the age of 15. Very  soon David was interested in the overblows, diatonic  harmonica jazz, and the new technical and stylistic  possibilities opening for harmonica players. He became a  professional musician at 20 toured and recorded with many  blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz bands. He wrote five  methods in French (beginners, country, blues, Celtic.). In  2001 he recorded his first solo album for Fremeaux and  Associes "Des Mots d'Harmo" (harmonica words). In 2004  he wrote and directed the music for Catfish Blues, a cartoon  about the blues which won the 1st prize at the International  Festival of Chicago Animated Short Film in 2006. In 2007 he  released his second album for Hland, a double album  "Jazzin Around" featuring many guest artists including  Howard Levy and Frank Gambale.
