ANDREAS WINS
Andreas Wins was born on December 31, 1959, in a small village near Omsk in West Siberia (Russia). At the age of 6 he received his first piano lessons, at the age of 8 he switched to the accordion. During his training as an accordion orchestra leader, he enjoyed lessons in arranging and conducting from the composer and conductor Valeriy Bolschakoff. His mentor also encouraged him to compose. In the following years, he gained experience as a leader of ensembles (choir, orchestra, band) which, under his direction and with his arrangements and own compositions, won several competitions. He has lived in Germany with his family since 1992. Here, too, musical life goes on: music school lessons, and orchestra conducting (symphonic, musical, and accordion orchestra).
