STEPHEN LYMAN
Drummer, composer, educator, and author Steve Lyman has performed extensively in the United States, Europe, and South America. Lyman, who holds a degree from the New School for Contemporary Music in New York City and a master's degree from the University of Utah, has performed/toured/recorded with such jazz luminaries as Nir Felder, Gilad Hekselman, Dan Tepfer, Chase Baird, Jose James, Ben van Gelder, Ben Street, Bill McHenry, George Garzone, Christopher Tordini, Ralph Alessi, Junior Mance, Logan Richardson, Jaleel Shaw, Thomas Morgan, Julian Pollack, and Corey Christiansen, to name a few. In 2012 Lyman released his debut album Revolver, which received international acclaim from such publications as All About Jazz Magazine. Currently, Lyman is performing and touring with his ensembles in the United States and abroad, as well as teaching drums and music courses privately and at institutions throughout the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest. Steve Lyman currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
